An festival guide app for Seafest 2017 is now available to download free (Android and iOS), giving the latest information on Ireland’s premier maritime festival, Galway (June 30-July 2).
The app contains the full festival programme; maps and directions; latest news along with general visitor information and social media feeds.

It also features and interactive ‘My Favourites’ list where users can add in their preferred festival events and create their own unique ‘My Map’.
‘Snap happy’ visitors can also enter the Gallery Competition by uploading a photo of their time at SeaFest, for a chance to win two €100 One4All gift cards.
Attractions at Galway Docks during the three-day event include PowerFly’s world champion flyboarders; tall ship The Phoenix; boat tours; BIM/Bord Bia showcase of the finest seafood; sailing and kayaking; LookWest.ie; Saoir Bád/boatbuilders; kids zone and the Festival Village.
Visitors can also enjoy tours of the Marine Institute’s survey vessel RV Celtic Explorer, Irish naval vessel LÉ Ciara and Commisisoner of Irish Lights vessel, Granuaile.
Away from the docks, events will also take place in the Latin Quater in Salthill (Amundsen exhibition) and water activities at Rusheen Bay, organised by the NWRA.
